"Sora! Riku!"
As Kairi ran across the beach towards them, the two boys could tell that something was going to be happening. Once she had gotten close enough, she stopped running and finished the last two feet at a slower pace. Still, she was slightly winded when she arrived. In the red head's hand was a bottle. And in the bottle, was a message that was sealed with a very familiar stamp.
Sora's eyes widened. "The King?" he said almost quizzically as he snatched the bottle away from his friend. After removing the cork, he shook it a few times, which caused the paper to pop out of the neck. Opening it up, he read the message.
"Sora, Riku,
Thank you for all of your help in the past. You have aided in the stopping of a great catastrophe. However, I fear that all is still not well among the stars. I still have some investigating to do, but if my fears are confirmed, then we are all in grave danger. When I have finished my research I shall contact you again.
The King"
Kairi looked at her friends. Her eyes were full of confusion and doubt. Sensing this, Sora turned to her and tried to comfort the teen.
"Kairi, we'll come back. I promise."
"I know that much, Sora. It's just that you only got back a few days ago. I don't want you to leave yet. It's too soon."
Riku looked over at the girl. "Kairi, we have to. You could come too, but only if you really want to."
The redhead nodded in agreement, and the three walked off to the place where they used to conspire to leave the island when they were younger.
That was fifteen years ago….

Alright. So I know that I plaguerized the ending for KH2 almost word for word, but How else did you expect me to start this off? I had to make the setting work out, and this was the only thing I could think of.
